A bit about the role: 

You will support the Finance team by ensuring timely and accurate accounting requirements are met. You will be contributing to the team’s goals and providing overall support to the wider business.

What you'll focus on: 

• Reporting on assigned sales and capital and operating expenditure within month end deadlines. This includes reviewing CAPEX and assigned cost centres, preparing and entering journals, and explaining budget and forecast variances. 
• Preparing accurate balance sheet reconciliations 
• Preparation and maintenance of annual budgets and monthly forecasts 
• Engaging with Lotto stakeholders
• Process improvements and recommendations for enhancements 
• Reviewing and approving payments as required. 

A bit about you:

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft suite of products. 
• SAP experience or similar large ERP system would be an advantage 
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and standards 
• 3+ years’ experience in accounting/finance 
• Business/Finance bachelor’s degree 
• Ideally qualified in CPA/CAANZ/CIMA
