Head of EPMO

- Shape and prioritise Lotto NZ’s enterprise portfolio so the right work gets done at the right time
- Give executives clear, trusted insights to make smart investment and trade-off decisions
- Surface risks, dependencies and capacity constraints early—and help resolve them
- Lead governance forums with decision-ready information, not noise
- Ensure performance, benefits and delivery confidence are always visible and understood
- Translate complex portfolio issues into clear choices and actions
- Partner closely with senior leaders to align delivery with strategy and outcomes
- Build and lead a high-performing EPMO team that drives discipline, clarity and impact across the business
- Strengthen portfolio practices so the organisation delivers with more confidence, consistency and transparency
Your team / Tō rōpū:
You’ll lead a high-impact EPMO team at the centre of how Lotto NZ turns strategy into delivery. The team connects enterprise investments to real outcomes—bringing clarity to what we do, when we do it, and why it matters for New Zealanders.
Working across the business, you’ll partner closely with senior leaders and delivery teams to shape a single, prioritised enterprise portfolio—making dependencies, risks and capacity visible, and enabling confident, well-informed decisions.
This is a team driving a step change in how Lotto NZ delivers—strengthening governance, lifting delivery confidence, and ensuring our most important initiatives stay aligned to strategy and deliver measurable value. You’ll play a key role in building the EPMO into a trusted enterprise function, known for bringing insight, discipline and clarity where it matters most.

As an experienced enterprise portfolio leader, you’re passionate about turning strategy into real results and creating clarity in complex environments. You take pride in the impact you have and the confidence you bring to decision-making. You will have:
- Strong experience leading enterprise portfolios or PMO/EPMO functions in complex organisations
- The ability to step back, see the big picture and connect work to strategy and outcomes
- A track record of supporting executives to make clear, confident investment decisions
- Confidence managing competing priorities, trade-offs, risks and dependencies
- A practical, no-nonsense approach to governance, delivery and ways of working
- The ability to turn complex information into simple, clear insights and actions
- Strong relationship skills—you influence, build trust and work effectively across all levels
- Experience leading and growing high-performing, multidisciplinary teams
- A focus on outcomes, not just activity—you care about delivering real value
