Your day-to-day:

  • Coordinate Trade Marketing Plans: Develop and deliver quarterly trade marketing plans, ensuring alignment with retail, marketing, and product strategies.
  • Manage Promotions and Launches: Communicate and support key promotions, product launches, and brand initiatives within the retail channel.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Marketing and Retail teams to set up planning meetings and ensure successful implementation of trade marketing plans.
  • Develop Marketing Tools: Create and distribute trade marketing packs, tools, info packs, and point of sale instruction sheets.
  • Support Marketing Activities: Update and deliver marketing information to retailers, internal teams, and strategic partners, and manage the quarterly marketing calendar.
  • Champion Harm Minimization: Ensure harm minimization principles are integrated into trade marketing plans and activities.
  • Engage in Test-and-Learn Projects: Support retail test-and-learn projects or trials from a marketing perspective.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to company policies, health and safety guidelines, and responsible gaming processes.

Purpose of the Role: As a Trade Marketing Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our marketing and retail teams. You'll coordinate trade marketing plans, manage promotional activities, and ensure that our brand initiatives are effectively communicated and supported within the retail channel. Your efforts will help enhance brand growth and engagement, ultimately contributing to our mission of delivering 100% of our profits back to New Zealand communities and thousands of good causes.

As an experienced marketing superstar, you will be passionate about what you do and proud of it. You will have:

  • Strong Planning Skills: You can bring multiple activities together into a cohesive plan, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Project Management Expertise: You excel at managing projects, communicating effectively, and driving initiatives with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent Time Management: You have proven skills in managing your workload and meeting deadlines.
  • Outstanding Communication: Your ability to build and maintain relationships is exceptional, and you can convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Creative Flair: You have a keen eye for detail and a knack for coming up with innovative ideas.
  • Data Interpretation: You can analyze data and transform it into meaningful actions that drive success.
  • Relevant Experience: You have at least one year of experience in a product or marketing role, demonstrating your ability to manage multiple initiatives and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Educational Background: You hold a relevant tertiary qualification that supports your expertise in this field.
