Your day-to-day:

  • Design & Production: Create static and animated digital content for mylotto.co.nz, the MyLotto app, eDMs, in-store digital signage, display banners, social media, and digital OOH.
  • Creative Campaigns: Design external promotional campaigns and assist UX/dev teams with UI outputs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Art and Motion Directors to apply brand standards and guidelines.
  • Project Management: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality finished art within agreed timeframes.
  • Workflow & Process: Adapt to workflow changes, manage files, time sheets, and deadlines efficiently.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain excellent working relationships with Creative and Marketing teams, present creative ideas, and manage client feedback professionally.
  • Strategic Participation: Engage in strategic/planning forums as needed.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to Lotto NZ's responsible gaming, health and safety, and security policies.

Join a dynamic and innovative Creative team at Lotto NZ, based in Auckland. Our team is dedicated to enhancing Lotto NZ's digital presence and supporting our product brands through creative and practical digital solutions. You'll collaborate closely with the Art Director, Motion Director, and other talented designers to produce high-quality digital content.

 

Exciting Projects: 

  • Digital Campaigns: Work on engaging promotional campaigns that capture the essence of our brand and resonate with our audience.
  • Cross-Channel Content: Design static and animated content for various platforms, including mylotto.co.nz, the MyLotto app, social media, and in-store digital signage.
  • UI/UX Collaboration: Assist the UX and development teams in creating user-friendly interfaces that enhance the customer experience.
Purpose of the Role:

As an Intermediate Digital Designer, you'll play a crucial role in implementing creative designs across a range of digital projects. Your work will ensure that our digital content is visually appealing, on-brand, and effectively communicates our messages. You'll be a key player in maintaining the consistency and quality of our digital outputs, contributing to the overall success of our marketing efforts.

A bit about you:

As an experienced Digital Design superstar, you will be passionate about what you do and be proud of it. You will have a thorough knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including AfterEffects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and InDesign. Your keen eye for detail ensures your designs are accurate and of high quality. You bring a creative mindset with the ability to solve problems and produce visually appealing designs. You have an excellent understanding of digital design and animation principles, along with the design process. Some understanding of the customer/user journey and how UI enhances this experience is also important.

 

Your strong oral and written communication skills enable you to effectively present creative work. You can establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners. You are capable of taking initiative and working autonomously, while also collaborating effectively with other designers. You are comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Your ability to interpret numerical and technical information and solve problems using systematic methods is crucial. You have a minimum of 2-3 years of previous digital design work experience and hold a tertiary qualification, either a Diploma in Design & Digital Media or a Bachelor's Degree in Design.
